The H3RO Series (6 Books)
Idol ThoughtsI was supposed to manage them. I wasn’t supposed to fall in love with them.
Six months ago, I discovered I was the illegitimate heir to one of the K-Pop industry’s biggest entertainment companies. I didn’t want anything to do with the empire I had the chance to inherit. Then I discovered how my jerk of a half-brother was currently running things. I might not want the job, but I damn well deserve it just as much as him. All I need to do is prove my worth by managing a failing boy band, H3RO, back to stardom. Easy, right? Tae, Dante, Minhyuk, Nate, Kyun, and Jun are as talented as they are good looking. Abandoned by their company, they’ve lost faith in everything and themselves. It’s down to me to save their careers – and their dreams – by delivering a number one single. And yet, somehow, the bigger miracle will be not falling in love with all of them… Idol ThreatsSome things need to stay dead and buried, while others need exorcising.
Managing a K-pop group was a lot easier than running a K-pop entertainment company, but with H3RO in the middle of a comeback, throwing myself into work is the natural thing to do. If only the reason behind that wasn’t because of my demon-spawn half-brother sabotaging me from his exile. Now, as well as running a company, I’ve got to plan the Halloween Party of the century. But the ghosts aren’t just appearing because of Halloween. Creeping out of the woodwork is Kyun’s father. After our shaky start, I made a promise not to hide anything from H3RO again and telling Kyun seems to be the right thing to do. Tae’s adamant the man is bad news, and this is one secret I need to keep. But how much trouble could he be? I’m beginning to think demons and ghosts are a safer option than family. |
Idol WorshipThe hardest part of being in love with K-Pop stars is having to share them.
I had one job: get K-Pop group, H3RO, a number one single. Then I had to open my mouth and promise two. It’s only because of a technicality that the Vice Chairman of Atlantis Entertainment, (AKA my demon-spawn-half-brother, Sejin), didn’t terminate their contracts. Now, more than ever, H3RO need to keep their focus. Tae, Dante, Minhyuk, Nate, Kyun and Jun are idols, working hard to maintain their rising fame. Caught in the public eye with fan meetings, promotions and performances, somehow, no one has noticed their attention is on me. Even if I wasn’t their manager, I know I need to back away. A dating scandal will end their careers quicker than Sejin. The guilt is eating me up, but I can’t stay away. And neither can they. Idol ReputationThere are worse things than secret relationships.
My biggest fear was that my relationship with H3RO would not only destroy their careers and reputation, but it would negatively impact Atlantis Entertainment and everyone who worked there. Even though my professional instinct told me to keep my distance, I listened to my heart. In the end, it wasn't our relationship that jeopardized everything. It was Lee Sejin's. When Ruby, a popular idol from Divine9 turns up at my office to tell me she is pregnant and that my demon-spawn half-brother is the father, I knew that we were about to face a huge problem. My only option is to somehow keep it from leaking to the public. Unfortunately it’s not the only secret he’s been hiding. Sejin’s illegal activities could destroy not only H3RO’s career but that of every idol and employee at Atlantis Entertainment. Why do we have to protect the person who tried to hurt us? |
Idol GossipWhen I didn’t know I needed a H3RO, I got six…
Six sexy, talented guys: H3RO’s popularity is rising and everyone is falling in love with them. But no one as much as me. I knew it was wrong. No one thought all of us could be in a relationship … Until Jun suggested we try. Before we can begin to figure out how that would work, we’re whisked away to a tropical island. We’ve overcome my demon-spawn half-brother’s evil schemes until now, but this time the Vice Chairman has outdone himself. With storms, sasaengs, and anti-fans, these comeback distractions are hitting us from every angle. It’s not just our careers we need to save. Friendship, loyalty and love are being tested. H3RO have survived everything so far – but can they survive me? More importantly, will they want to? Idol LivesLike its namesake, Atlantis is sinking.
The damage has been done and Atlantis Entertainment is barely hanging on. The police and prosecution are now regular visitors at the company, stocks have taken a hit, and anti-fans are now lining up outside the building. Sejin might finally be in prison, but now my main job is to salvage what I can. The idols and actors at Atlantis need their careers protecting, and the public need assuring that what Sejin did will never be repeated again. Only, my attention is on H3RO. Tae has enlisted, and Kyun's struggling without him. Nate's busy in a drama, but there's something happening on set which is making him come home and hide in his room. Jun's still recovering from his injury, Dante's back and forth between China, and Minhyuk is... one of the people the police are interviewing. Can we keep our heads above the water or will the final attack from Sejin be the blow that finally destroys everything? |
